I think this is the first creative song using the Diosynth I’ve seen. Great job.
The EWI space has yet another entry, Schirmer & Sons has TWO different models of EWI. Two. Wish they had some sound samples, but these look interesting for the fans of the Akai 4000/5000 model of EWI (they seem to have cloned those).
For those of us who still use and LOVE their EWI 4000S, but cannot actively manage the synth on it anymore, fear not. A new version of EWITool has been release that seems to work on all platforms now. I believe the original author sunsetted it, but it has been resurrected by a new user….
We are in an age of all kinds of neat electronic wind instruments. This one, the Diosynth, looks FANTASTIC. They seemed to have really NAILED the instrument. I especially think their editing software is going to make it stand out. I love the Aerophone 30 and 20, but Roland’s software for it is…….kinda trash. Give…
Came across this article by the people over at www.suonopuro.net. They make some fantasic sound libraries. When I do like “Pop” gigs, I find the AE-30 to be the perfect instrument to take. I have several EWIs (Akai 4000s, AE-20, Yamaha WX-11). The AE-30 has some sounds the AE-20 doesn’t have, like if you need…
Huh. Didn’t know this. Coolio.
Had to play this on a gig. I don’t own a Whistle in F, so I did it on EWI using the whistle patch. Worked great.
There seems to be more Electronic Wind Instruments out there than I know. Here is a company called Greaten, which makes TWO versions of an EWI. The difference between them can be found here. Basically, these look like Akai EWI4000/5000 clones. Which is NOT a bad thing. Now this would be an excellent thing if……IF……it…
A company called MidiPlus is coming out with a wind controller called “Elesa”. No word on pricing, but it’s good to see more Wind Controllers out there.
